In addition to the NYS BLS Protocol Update, all Midstate ALS providers (AEMT’s, CC’s and Paramedics) are required to complete an update for the 2019 changes to the NYS Collaborative Protocols as well. There are two videos to view and a simple 15 questions, level of care specific, online test to complete. Below is a copy of the letter from our Midstate REMAC chair with more explanation. This update must be completed in its entirety no later than December 31, 2019.

Midstate EMS Stakeholder meetings are scheduled for Nov 12,13,14 and Sunday 11/17. EMS Agency Directors, Operators, CME Managers, CSO and training Officers and all Midstate EMS Providers are welcome.

We will review and discuss BLS and Collaborative Protocol roll outs, Upcoming changes in EMS Education, Regional and State EMS Operations, and review agency specific information.

Is presented to enrich your knowledge on pacemakers that are used for reasons other than symptomatic bradycardia.

This will be an interactive presentation where EMS providers can ask questions regarding state of the art pacemakers being used in this area and some of the unique properties and what are the clinical findings seen on the cardiac monitor and in the 12-Lead ECG.
