• The Midstate EMS System is comprised of over 120 Emergency Medical Service agencies from the Volunteer, Proprietary, Based and Municipal Sectors. Each sector of EMS serves a unique and important role in the EMS System and operates under the protocols established by the Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Committee (REMAC) and Midstate Regional EMS Council.
• Midstate has over 1400 NYS DOH certified providers including EMR – EMT – AEMT – Critical Care Technicians and Paramedics.
• Our Region has a population of over 370,000 people and covers over 3,230 square miles.

Thursday May 12 Our New York Mills Emergency Medical Technician Original Class will begin.  The class will meet Mon, Tue, Wed and Thurs evening with a state certification exam scheduled for August 18.  For more information or to Register on-line at midstateems.dreamhosters.com or call 738-8351

Our annual Recognition Banquet will be held on Friday evening May 20 at Harts Hill in New York Mills.  Tickets are available at the EMS Office 14 Foery Drive Utica or at Resource (St. Luke’s Emergency Dept.) Tickets are $20 each.
