Current Trends in Substance Abuse

Madison County Emergency Management is partnering with other local agencies to promote a seminar on current trends in substance abuse.  Attached is a flier for this upcoming seminar.   It is being held on March 7th at 9-11am and repeated 7:30-9pm at the Colgate Inn, 7 Payne St., Hamilton, NY.    This is a free event.

The presenter is Officer Jermaine Galloway.  He  is highly regarded as one of the nation’s top experts in various drug and alcohol trends. His countless hours of research keep his presentations current, evolving with the trends. These efforts have won Officer

On Line CME Re-Certification

Sunday January 17, 2016 at Central Oneida County Ambulance 2PM and Wednesday January 20, 2016 at Verona Fire Station 7PM (Choose one) will begin our 2016 On line recertification program open to Basic, and Advanced Providers in the Midstate Region.  Both the provider and Agency must be enrolled in the CME Program.  Signup on line or call Bill 315 738-8351.

Daytime EMT Class

Beginning January 26, 2016 HCCC will host a daytime EMT Original and Refresher Basic Emergency Medical Technician Class.  The class will meet Tuesday and Thursday 8AM to 1PM occasional Saturday sessions will be included (9am-3PM).  The class will complete on Thursday May 19, 2016.  Register on line at midstateems.dreamhosters.com or call Bill at 315 738-8351.
