EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN CLASS

WATERVILLE 9/3/14-3/19/15

Erik Merrill will instruct a Basic Original and Refresher starting Sept 3, the class will run Monday, Wednesday and occasionally on Thursday evenings from 6:30PM to 10:30. The class certification exam is March 19, 2015.

CLARK MILLS 9/8/14-3/19/15

Central Oneida County Ambulance will host a Basic Original and Refresher class with CIC Adam Shaver instructing. The class will meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings 7PM to 10PM and occasional Saturdays 9AM starting September 8 the certification exam is March 19^, 2015.

HERKIMER COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE 8/26/14-12/18/14

CIC Richard Bishop will instruct this daytime Basic Original and Refresher class at HCCC beginning it will begin 8AM Tuesday and Thursdays and finish at 1 PM there will be some Saturday sessions as well. This class will end December 18, 2104.

NEWPORT FIRE STATION 10/7/14-3/19/15

Starting October 7, at 6:30PM Jack Hasse CIC will begin a Basic Original and Refresher class this Tuesday Thursday and occasional Saturday course will complete on March 19, 2015

Midstate EMS Providers can complete “Core” material on-line. Participants must belong to a state approved CME Organization and must attend two required sessions Sunday August 17,  and Sunday Sept 21 both are conducted at Noon at Central Oneida County Ambulance.  Access to the internet is required for this program.  Sign up On-line or call Bill at 738-8351

Madison County Search and Rescue will be presenting a Basic EMT Original and Refresher class starting August 25, the Mon and Thursday evening classes will start at 7PM and finish at 10:30, The class will test on Thursday January 15, 2015 to register or for additional information contact Bob Sturdevant at 363-6518

Basic EMT Class registration is now on-line.  Fall classes are planned for Herkimer County Community College (daytime), EMS Training Center, New Hartford, Newport and Waterville.  Class registration and additional information, days times etc are avaible under the class tab on the web site, or call Bill at 315 738-8351.

You can now sign up for the Rapid Recert for the November 2014 testing for Critical Care or Paramedic levels only. The deadline for this testing will be September 15, 2014. You will need to send in or drop off DOH Form 4010 no later than September 15, 2014. If you plan on participating in the Rapid Recert will need to attend the 13 hour National Standard BLS updates and have DOH form 5064 filled out by the teaching CIC and bring this with you to the PSE. You will also need a copy of your NIMS 100 (200 for Paramedic) and 700 and HAZMAT Awareness or a Fire Fighter 1 Certificates. The PSE will be on Saturday, November 15, 2014, 8:00AM and the written exam will be on November 20, 2014, 6:30PM.
