ONLINE CORE CONTENT FOR THE CME RECERTIFICATION PROGRAM (aka the Pilot Program)

This program is for:

· EMT’s, CC’s and Paramedics

· Must be with an agency within the Midstate Region that is registered in the program with DOH BEMS

· The provider must also be registered in the CME program with state (DOH Form 4226 on file with the state)

The registration location and dates are as follows:

All registrations and end session dates will be at:

· Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corp (COCVAC)

· All Registrations and End Sessions will be begin promptly at noon on the follow dates:

#1: Registration: July 21 Final Session: August 25

#2: Registration: August 11 Final Session: September 22

#3: Registration: Sept 15 Final Session: October 20

#4: Registration: October 13 Final Session: November 17

#5: Registration: November 20 Final Session: December 22

Please note that it is important that when you sign up for the program you are able to attend the end session associated with the registration date.

Due to the heavy rains and flooding for the past several days in CNY, our EMS system has been hugely impacted. Both Herkimer and Madison County EMS agencies have been working around the clock to assure continued service and support as crews assume extra work and longer hours. Results of these floods are being felt across the Midstate Region including Vineall Ambulance in Madison County which was particularly hard hit as their building flooded and had to relocate their operations.

The Faxton St. Luke’s EMS Program Agency and Midstate REMSCO are very proud of all personnel and would like to extend sincere thanks to all the dedicated professional EMS Agencies for their hard work and on-going commitment to your communities in helping people.
