Midstate EMS mourns the loss of Eric Loucks Paramedic,Instructor ,Retired Little Falls Deputy Chief,long time REMSCO member and Friend. Eric passed away last night at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. Arrangements will be forth coming

Oneida County Volunteer Firemen’s Association is hosting a Legislative Breakfast on Saturday, January 26^th at Deerfield Fire Department on Trenton Road.

Legislative Program @ 0915

The legislative program will update everyone with the latest legislative proposals that affect both Fire and EMS services.  It will also provide the opportunity to interact with our elected officials and express our concerns as well.

Cost is $9.00 per person (pay at the door)

All reservations for the 8th Annual Fire Service Breakfast that will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 must be made by Monday. Breakfast will be held at the Deerfield Fire Department Spike Yourdan Conference Center beginning at 8:30am. Two representatives from each department are free. All others at $9.00. If you are bringing a check, please make it out to the Oneida County Fire Chiefs.

There will be a Critical Care CME Class held at Kunkel Ambulance starting 2/18/13 and ending 3/18/13. Classes will be Monday’s and Thursday’s from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. To sign up click the “Classes” tab at the top of this page then search “CME Core Content Hours”. Any questions call Bill at 315-624-4539.

We will be at the Old Forge Fire Department tonight at 7pm for the Online CME Sign Up Class. Anyone in the Midstate Region is welcome to come and check it out. With the Rapid Recert Program temporarily suspended, this will be your way of recertifying without taking a complete refresher class. For more information you can contact Bill at 315-624-4539.

Tomorrow at 7pm we will be at Greater Lenox Ambulance in Canastota anyone in the nearby area is more than welcome to and check it out/sign up.

We will be at the New Hartford Fire Department tonight at 7pm for the Online CME Sign Up Class. Anyone in the Midstate Region is welcome to come and check it out.
