Well another year has almost passed us by. I believe we, as a region, have held up well considering the challenges 2012 has presented. 2013 promises to be an exciting and challenging year for EMS. We will be rolling out the new, eleven county, three region ALS protocols. We will be working with our instructors to implement the new education standards and working with our Intermediate Agencies to transition to the new level of care. Soon the Program Agency and Education Department will be moving to new offices. (Available strong backs are welcome!) The hospitals will continue to struggle with budgets and staffing. As a Profession EMS will need to continue recruitment and retention efforts.

As your Program Agency we are confident Midstate will rise to these challenges. We believe these opportunities will allow Midstate to shine as a model for our state.
