Rome Memorial Hospital is conducting this clinic in conjunction with the Oneida County Health Department. This is an exercise to test our capabilities to vaccinate first line responders
in the event of an actual pandemic flu.

Advanced EMT Intermediate Original and Refresher class Starts October 3. Class will run thru January 19, 2012. Class will be held at the Frankfort Fire Station, 158 South Litchfield St., Monday’s and Thursday’s form 6:30pm to 10:00pm and some Saturday’s 9:00am to 1:0pm. St Elizabeth’s Medical Center will be offering a free Flu clinic to all First Responders on Thursday Oct 6th from 09:00 to 17:00 in conference room A all first responders are welcome.

Woodgate Fire Department is hosting our next Project Kids Care non core CME class Monday, September 19, 6pm-9pm.  Grab your swimsuit and PFD and join us for an eye-opening class on basic water safety and rescue techniques.  This is for EMS providers only, and worth 3 non core CME hours.  What a fun way to get CME credits.  Class will meet at Woodgate Fire Dept. and carpool to the site that’s been approved for our class (it’s a secret location so everyone please meet at Woodgate Fire Dept!) Are you an Advanced Life Support Provider that has recently tested and have received the HOT PINK Temporary Certification Card in the mail for your results?  If you answered “Yes” to this question did you submit a copy of this Temporary Certification Card to the Program Agency to avoid having your ALS Privileges suspended?  If you answered Yes the Program Agency has a copy on file. But, if you answered “No” depending on the circumstances your ALS privileges may have been suspended.

This Temporary Certification Card will be temporary until you receive the one on the security paper from the State Department of Health but until that time you are to submit this letter to the Program Agency upon RECEIPT from the DOH. This letter is valid for no more than 1 year from the issue date.
