2011 GREAT AMERICAN IRISH FESTIVAL

Fellow Emergency Medical Responders,

The Frankfort Fire Department is looking for currently certified emergency medical technicians to volunteer and provide emergency medical and transport services during the 2011 Great American Irish Festival at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds, July 29 through the 31. Volunteers must be authorized to participate from their sponsor agency. A six or seven hour shift is required to include a ALS provider, required per shift. The return will be free admission into the festival before or after your tour. A uniform shirt is required with current EMS identification. MISSION OBJECTIVES:

Providers will be responsible to provide emergency medical services to include transport to medical facility, during the event. Providers will be mobile at many ongoing events throughout the grounds. Emergency medical response on the event grounds, patient evaluation and assessment, treatment, extrication, and possible transport.
