“Those” Patients
Ever have one of “those†patients? The one who doesn’t want to cooperate, who can’t communicate, who you just can’t get through to? Did you find out later that they were Autistic, had ADHD/ADD or Alzheimer’s disease? Well, now you will have the knowledge and tools to help assess and treat “those†patients! Friday, July 29th, two sessions of non-core CME hours will be held at Mid-State EMS Training Center, 2521 Sunset Ave, Room 101 regarding Autism, ADHD/ADD and Alzheimer’s patients and the special challenges pre-hospital providers face when assessing and treating these special patient populations. 3 hours BLS credits will be rewarded.
