Kuyahoora is hosting a Basic EMT class for both Original and Refresher. Class starts October 26, and will run until March 24, 2011. Classes will be held on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 6:30pm to 10:00pm with some Saturday Classes. You can register here on the web-site or call Bill Perry at 315-624-4539.
A Weapons of Mass Destruction class will be held at Salisbury Fire Department on Saturday November 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM. This program is open to all EMS providers. The instructor for this program will be Derek Macero.
There maybe some confusion about  CME process. In a nut shell; all didactic and skills must be sent to your primary agency’s CME Manager. He/she will make you good in the system (both CNY and Midstate) The other part of the requirement be be active in the Midstate region is submitting an agreement,current copies of your EMT and CPR cards to Chris at Midstate. You can view your status at any time by logging on to your account. The Oneida County Health Department has arranged for First Responders to participate in a Seasonal FLU POD. Please note that you must register online at the respective link for the POD you plan to attend. These PODS are for adults aged 19 and older.
