WMD preparedness for members of volunteer emergency service agencies

On September 25th through 27th the State Preparedness Training Center; located in Oriskany, Oneida County, will host a program of training on preparedness for members of volunteer emergency service agencies.  The Volunteer Emergency Service Weekend is open to members of volunteer fire and emergency medical service agencies throughout New York State as well as other volunteer emergency response agencies.

The weekend program begins Friday afternoon September 25th at 2:00 pm, this year there will be two parallel tracks of performance based courses and participants will pick either the WMD/Terrorism Incident Defensive Operations for Emergency Responders or Emergency Medical Services (EMS): Operations and Planning for WMD.
